DOCUMENTS REQUIRED TO BE SUBMITTED AT THE TIME OF FILING OF FORM FOR ADMISSION.

  • 1. Two photo copies (duly attested) of Matric Diploma.
  • 2. Two photo copies (duly attested) of Matric Marks Card.
  • 3. Two photo copies (duly attested) of 10+2 Marks Card.
  • 4. Two photo copies (duly attested) of State Subject (For J&K domicile only).
  • 5. Two photo copies (duly attested) of category certificate) (For candidates seeking admission under any reserved category)

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED TO BE SUBMITTED AT THE TIME OF ADMISSION

  • 1. All the original documents from serial number 1 to 5 as stated above.
  • 2. Original discharge certificate from the institution last attended along with two photo copies of the duly attested. No candidate will be admitted in absence of this certificate.
  • 3. Migration certificate in original along with two photo copies duly attested (For candidates other than Jammu University)
  • 4. An affidavit for the gap period (education gap) if any (Applicable to those candidates who have passed their qualifying examination before the current session i.e. one year earlier or so and have not taken admission in any other course).
  • 5. An affidavit to the effect that the category certificate is genuine. (In case admission is granted under any reserved category)
  • 6. Eligibility Form: (Students coming from other Universities shall fill up the eligibility form of this University and submit the same to the College along with prescribed University fee)
  • 7. Eight recent passport size coloured photographs.

CANCELLATION OF ADMISSION

The Admission Committee shall have the right to cancel the admission of any student who fails to produce the requisite documents/fees within the prescribed time after admission.

MINIMUM ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENT

As per Jammu University statutes and Bar Council of India Rules governing 5years Law Course, a student has to attend minimum of75% of lectures delivered in the classes to be eligible to appear in any term examination failing which he/she will not be permitted to appear in the examination.

NO MIGRATION

A student admitted to 3 Year LLB (Professional) Course in any of the affiliated College shall not be permitted to have migration, while pursuing the course to the Dept. of Law University of Jammu and vice versa.

ELIGIBILITY

For admission to the 3 year LLB (Professional) course a candidate must have passed the Bachelor's Degree examination of 10+2+3 pattern (Honours or General) in Arts/Science/Commerce from University of Jammu or any other examinationrecognized as equivalent thereto, from a statutory University/Institution with at least 45% in aggregate, 40%, for the Schedule Caste/Tribe candidate.
